Currently: I'm thoroughly enjoying all the time I have to spend with my children and focusing on doing things I've long wanted to do - like starting my own organization business!

You are a mother of two living in California - what keeps you grounded these days?

It can be really hard to remember to do something for myself. I've realized that being outdoors and surrounded by nature benefits my mental clarity and happiness. I feel so lucky to live somewhere where the weather is nice most of the time. I like to go on hikes alone, take long walks with the kids around our neighborhood, or go to the beach. Feeling some sun and fresh air makes me feel good.

How would you describe yourself?

As a mom who's still trying to figure it all out! I'm learning a lot about myself every year and I find that I feel more and more like "myself" as time goes on. I'm still discovering who I am and who I want to be, what legacy I leave for my children and their children. Apart from these deep thoughts, I think my family and friends would describe me as a generous, selfless, and strong woman who always wants those around her to laugh and feel genuinely loved.

What are your best styling tips for new or expectant mothers?

Wear what feels comfortable to you and keep it simple! A pair of black maternity leggings can go with everything! Wear your leggings with a long, oversized t-shirt or shirt and match with an oversized blazer/jacket for an elegant "on-the-go" look.

How has your own style evolved (if at all) since you became a mother?

My style hasn't evolved much. I still feel like I can dress as I did before if I really want to, but right now I love oversized clothes and matching sets. I used to buy clothes without thinking about how they would last or their impact on the environment. But now I buy very few specific pieces that I know I'll be able to wear for decades and maybe even pass on to my kids!

What's your favorite piece from our SS21 collection?

So much to love! If I had to choose, I would pick your bikini. I love the fit and I like wearing the bikini top as a sports bra. I would pair it with the cycling shorts, an oversized blazer, and add a pair of sneakers to it and there's my favorite summer look!

What's the one piece of advice you wish you had received before becoming a mother?

Travel, travel, travel! As much as you can! (Not that you can't travel after having kids, it's just much harder to travel with them or even to travel without them because you don't want to be away from them!) And don't rush! Time flies by already and you'll never get it back. Be present in every moment, take it all in, and store it in the most precious part of your brain.
