Irmaos Rodrigues is Boob's largest producer and has been for many years. The family-owned company was started 1987 in Gilmonde, in the north of Portugal. Our agent, Lucinda, is located close by and visits the factory several times a week to manage daily matters as well as quality control of the finished garments. The fabric is knitted and dyed by local long-term partners for several reasons: to get the best quality, price and lead times. As the factory is GOTS-certified, all of the factories in the production chain before and after must be certified as well. This applies to every Boob product with the GOTS logo on it!

This factory is also certified according to Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® to guarantee that the garments are free of hazardous chemicals, and SA8000-certified to guarantee workers’ rights and a safe workplace.
