By regularly examining your breasts, you learn how they usually feel and look, making it easier to detect any changes that can be worth having a check-up for. However, remember that most irregularities or pain can appear due to hormonal causes. During this Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we would like to give you a friendly reminder to examine your breasts. Below, we show you how to do so, step by step. Step 1 - Look Raise your arms above your head and look down at your breasts. Pay attention to whether your breasts have their usual shape and if you notice any changes in the skin and nipples. Step 2 - Feel Place one hand behind your head and the other on the opposite breast. Feel through one breast at a time with straight fingers and gentle pressure, doing small circular movements. Start at the nipple and continue outwards and around until both breasts and armpits have been thoroughly examined. Step 3 - Lie down and feel Lie down with one hand behind your head and the other on the opposite breast.
