This tunic looks chic paired with our wide-legged or kick flare trousers – but it also doubles as a little black dress. Made from a stretchy yet structured fabric, it has room for your baby belly and makes you feel totally put together. Has added details like a notched neckline, shorter sleeves and side pockets and features our original horizontal nursing access hidden under the bodice.
(If you are in between sizes, we recommend the larger size since the LBD tunic is made from a slightly heavier and less flexible Punto di Roma quality.)
The overlap across the bust makes nursing easy, comfortable and discreet. It opens simply with one hand, leaving the other free to hold your baby.
Since 2008, we have increased the use of sustainable materials from 20% to 97% (measured by weight of our total production in 2017). We aim to make that figure 100%. The sustainable materials we use today are organic cotton, recycled cotton, lyocell and recycled polyester and polyamide. Read more about our sustainable materials here!
Lyocell is a cellulose fibre made from fast-growing eucalyptus and other woods from sustainably managed forests where cultivation requires only 5% of the water used in traditional cotton farming. The fibre is produced in a closed loop process, in which almost all of the water and chemicals are reused.
Our production takes place in Portugal, Turkey, Italy and Greece. We place high demands on our suppliers when it comes to environmental and social responsibility and we only work with factories that respect our Code of Conduct. We don’t just hunt for the lowest price and the speediest delivery. We strive to build long-lasting relationships with producers that share our basic values about human rights and caring for the environment.
For us, it is important that our clothes are free from harmful chemicals. Therefore, we require that our suppliers comply with the EU chemicals regulation REACH. Our garments are also certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, which means that they are tested for harmful substances. We promise clothes you can safely wear next to your skin and baby.
