Interview with Nicole Faliciani

Nicole Falciani

Profession: Influencer and program host
Home: Rome, Italy
Family: Partner Adem and two dachshunds, Bruno and Frank
Instagram: @nicolefalciani

Background

I grew up in Stockholm with an Italian father and a Swedish/Italian mother. I started blogging when I was 10 years old, and for the past 10 years I have worked full-time as an influencer, but I am a multi-tasker who loves to try new things. Among other things, I have been a lecturer and a program host, and I have released two books with a third in the works! In addition, I am a dog lover with two dachshunds and I volunteer at a dog kennel in Rome.

Currently:

I am releasing my third book at the end of the year and participating in Underdogs, which will be broadcast on SVT in the spring of 2023.

Hi Nicole! We’re so glad for the chance to interview you. We got in touch just after you got a positive pregnancy test. Congratulations! You are now in week 24 (October 1st, 2022). How are you feeling?

I'm relatively fine, thanks.

Describe your pregnancy in three words?

Scary, nervous and big.

You recently moved to Rome, tell us about it?

My partner Adem and I have lived in Rome for 1.5 years and we love it!! In February 2021, we spontaneously decided to move to Italy, and by April 1st we were on a flight from Stockholm to Rome.

What do your dreams for the future look like?

That’s difficult to answer! I take most things in life as they come, but my two big career dreams are to continue hosting and to act.

There is so much uncertainty in the world today. What do you want the world your child grows up in to look like?

Of course I want my child to grow up in a magical, safe and calm world where it’s all peace and joy. Unfortunately, reality does not reflect that, but my task will be to do my very best to ensure my daughter becomes a calm and safe person.

You are a real multi-tasker: influencer, presenter, author, business owner and now mother-to-be. Wow! How do you prioritize your time and do you have any routines that create balance in everything?

Yes, I have always enjoyed keeping a lot of balls in the air and my hope is to continue to do so in the future as well. Probably at a slower pace, but I still like variety in my professional life. I'm pretty bad at routine, I must admit. But when the baby arrives, it's probably time to become more structured.

What kind of parent do you think you will be?

I will do my best to be a calm and easygoing mother, but at the same time have clear rules.

You have announced that you are expecting a daughter. What quality do you most want to pass on to her? Is there any trait you don't want her to inherit? ;)

I hope she becomes an open-minded person, but I’d rather she not inherit my stubbornness. Then I will really, really have a hard time. Ha!

You recently modeled for us. It was so much fun working with you! Do you have favorites in the Boob collection that you want to recommend?

Oh, yeah!! I fell in love with your lounge pants. They go with everything and are soooo comfortable.

How would you describe your pregnancy style?

My pregnancy style has mostly consisted of tight-knit dresses. Simple, stylish and comfortable.

Do you have any weird pregnancy cravings you want to share?

I had some strange cravings in the beginning. Cheese puffs and red meat. I could eat half a bag of cheese puffs a day. But since then, I haven't had any special cravings.

How would you describe your pregnancy style?

Last question: What are your best tips for other pregnant women?

Listen to your body, be kind to yourself and try to keep exercising if you can!
