Magic Maternity Tube - a real wardrobe saver
May 2011
Boob presents the Magic Maternity Tube, a unique garment for the pregnant woman. The tube can be worn as a dress, top, skirt or belly tube. Its flexible length and comfortable fit makes the Magic MaternityTube a favourite throughout pregnancy. For the first time, the expectant mother can have a complete, smart and stylish wardrobe in one!
The multifunctional, seamless Magic Maternity Tube offers a completely new range of variations according to mood, occasion or needs. The tube can be worn as a long or short dress, skirt, top or belly tube offering extra support, all in one comfortable garment.
”When you become pregnant and suddenly have to live with a body that is constantly changing, you have totally new demands on comfort and flexibility. Whilst you want to look good and feel comfortable, you don’t want to spend a fortune on clothes you can only wear for a short duration. The idea for the Magic Maternity Tube sprung from the concept of offering pregnant women a really smart multi-garment with endless variations, and that can easily be adjusted for all occasions. The fact that it can still be used after pregnancy is an added bonus”, says Mia Seipel, Boob’s founder and creative director.
Modern mothers don’t only want a wardrobe that is smart, functional and easy to vary. They also want clothes that are sustainable – in every way. Boob makes clothes with care for people and the environment.
“Our design process includes a sustainability perspective at all stages, from the first idea on the drawing-table to the finished product. High quality, durability and multifunction are crucial, just as fair production and choosing materials with as little environmental impact as possible. Innovative design is design for a sustainable development”, says Mia Seipel.
